Bath under the dormer

A new bathroom on the top floor of a house whose plumbing stopped at the floor below. The old half-inch line would have given a shower you could count the drops of.

What we did

We ran a new three-quarter riser from the basement through two closets, with a pressure-balancing valve at the top, and brought the waste down inside the same chase.

• New riser, basement to top floor

• Bath, basin and toilet first fix and second fix

• Chase closed up and ready for the painter
